IMAGINE

John Lennon, the heart head of the Beatles, was an extremely idealistic and passionate advocate for social justice and change. Along with his wife, Yoko One, they raised awareness for important social and political issues and contributed greatly to the awakening of consciousness in youth around the world during the Seventies.

"Imagine," released during his solo years, may be the most touching and profound song he ever wrote. It exquisitely captures the sentiments of living on planet Earth simply as a sovereign human being. With no labels, no obligations, no expectations and no affiliations. A condition with which the institutions of religion, government, banking and media find completely unacceptable.

Yet, "Imagine" still remains a song and a message, as powerful as ever and the words seem to be setting the stage for a vast fulfillment of the song's prophecy. John Lennon RIP.

JOHN LENNON – "Imagine"
(Words and music by John Lennon)

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

GIVE PEACE A CHANCE

Imagine that, peace instead of war. What a radical concept, that was in 1970. And, of course, it still holds true today.

For these kinds of statements, John Lennon became an enemy of the corrupt Richard Nixon administration and in a twisted and perverted fashion, an enemy of the United States. (See the film, "The U. S. vs. John Lennon" for more details.) He eventually payed for his words with his life.

"Give Peace A Chance" became the rallying cry for the anti-Vietnam War movement and should be the motto for the whole world right now! The people of the planet are sick and tired of war and are demanding peace in ever increasing numbers. And peace they shall have. It is coming soon!
